Founded as PhaRmLogs in 2016 as a reminder system for daily drug counts for EMS Teams.

Fire & EMS Software Born from Necessity

Founded in 2016 from industry professionals, Emergency Logs Founder, Denny Munson, addressed challenges faced in essential operations of Emergency personnel. “I don’t want to be a person who watches and does nothing to improve a situation” says Denny, referring to how traditional paper-based methods of controlled drug and inventory tracking result in documentation leakage, too much time chasing issues, and administrative burden.

Originally founded as PhaRmLogs, the system started as a daily vial count and reminder system for EMS Teams and quickly became the cornerstone digital Narcotics tracking system for Metropolitan Departments in Southern California. “But customers wanted more than drug tracking” says Munson, “they required logs and operational tracking of apparatus in their fleet.” As services expanded into truck checks, GPS tracking, and EMS inventory control, for example, the product formerly known as TraxWorx was born in 2022 and was ultimately rebranded to Emergency Logs in 2024 to resonate more clearly with Fire & EMS professionals.
